eLearning VS Classroom Learning

Many people are interested in finding out if they should train through E-Learning or Classroom Learning. Below are two quick questions you can ask yourself to find out which one is better for you.

When did you find out about the differences between E-Learning and Classroom Learning?

Do you prefer online training or classroom training?

When you have decided which one you prefer, then read on. Below are 3 things to consider before making your decision.

eLearning VS Classroom Learning

1. Difference between E-Learning and Classroom Learning

The first question you should ask is whether to train online or in a classroom. The first difference is that E-Learning is more of an individual and/or self-directed form of learning. This is different from classroom learning. With classroom training, a trainer is usually facilitating the learning and providing input. This input is for a set learning period and it’s not suitable for all trainees.

It can work for a number of trainees, but not for all. E-Learning is an excellent form of learning for those who prefer to self-learn, which is a great quality to have for a career change. It’s also very suitable for those who want to work part-time as they study and can still maintain a full-time job.

How do you know if your employer will give you the opportunity to E-Learn? Ask them and get back to you. If they say they can’t give you the opportunity, or they’re unsure how they will manage the process, then you may want to consider a different type of learning.

2. Pros & Cons of E-Learning & Classroom Learning

For some, E-Learning can be far cheaper and easier to fit into your life. In the UK, it costs as little as £9-£12.75 per day (although this can vary). E-Learning can provide some amazing benefits, such as flexibility, independence and convenience. Plus, you can also do it at your own pace and for as long as you like.

It’s also easy to get information and learn about new skills via e-learning. You can go online and easily find information. It’s also a great way of keeping up-to-date with training and education. You also have the option of doing it on your own time and in your own surroundings. It’s highly flexible, and you can even learn whilst on holiday.

The downside is that it’s not suitable for everyone, so it’s important to make sure that you’re going to enjoy this kind of learning. If you do go for E-Learning, you need to make sure you take some time to figure out where to go, and how to get started. Classroom Learning is far more expensive to employ than E-Learning. With classroom learning, you pay to take the training.

This also includes the travel and accommodation costs. In most cases, it can also be very costly to hold the training. When you’re looking at the costs of classroom learning, it’s a good idea to look at the average class size, as it’s usually a maximum of 16 students. With classroom training, there’s usually a trainer or facilitator, which can be very beneficial.

A trainer is there to ensure you get the most out of the training. They can answer questions and help you through difficult topics. Plus, you get to learn alongside other people. This can be a very sociable way to learn and allows you to get social support and networking when needed.

Another benefit to training in a classroom is that you’ll have easy access to a trainer. A good trainer will make sure that all students get the same level of training, and have the same opportunity to learn. So, which one do you prefer? How will you decide?

Check out the Pros & Cons section below.

3. Should you go for E-Learning or Classroom Learning?

Whether you choose E-Learning or Classroom Learning, it’s important to make sure that you’re choosing the best one for your situation. This is because it’s not always possible to do one or the other. However, you do need to make a decision. You also need to consider whether you want to use a full-time or part-time learning approach. This can be very important, as not all training is suitable for a part-time job. It’s best to go for full-time learning with E-Learning if you want a steady job.

If you’re not having to work whilst you’re training, you have more time for other things, such as personal projects or hobbies. For part-time learning, it’s better to go for Classroom Learning. You can easily fit it into your life, and go at your own pace. It can be great if you have other commitments. It doesn’t take too much of your time and can be done when you have a spare 5 minutes.

The bottom line is that it’s important to make sure that you’re going to enjoy the learning you do and that you’re going to get the most out of the training. After all, you don’t want to waste your time and money!

What is my decision? The answer is easy.

You need to decide what’s best for you and what you’re going to do in your training. There is no one right or wrong way to choose between E-Learning and Classroom Learning. After considering the pros and cons of each, you can then decide which one will work best for you. However, even if you decide to do E-Learning or Classroom Learning, you need to think about what you want from your learning.
